Figuring that the gamecube adapter was broken I think I might be able to get a new adapter and be done with it. I also called up Nintendo Tech Support and they were not able to do anything. I checked Nintendo Technical support, checked for any and all updates and made sure the wired communication was turned on for the pro controller.
